Its yet another case of me being let down by google and the google PR remains an unsolved puzzle to most of us. Frantic expressions was the order of the day when my friend called me up and told me about the updated google ranks. So, the following were the supposed to be the criteria for google PR. The key areas that have been affected with this update are:
- The history of your web pages
- The way backlinks are counted
- Site content & structure
The history of your website and in fact, the individual pages within it are playing an increasingly important role in your site's ability to rank well. The longer your site has been online the better your chances of ranking highly. Further, the longer a specific internal page has been live the better it will rank for additional phrases. It is mandatory that you have to have some of the primary phrases that google uses to optimize the site. I mean WTF is it??? Its absolutely on the part of the blogger whether or not to use these phrases.
Backlinks(??!!):
I dont wanna comment on this part of the topic. Cos, its absolutely confusing on the way google updates PR because though there are meny sites that provide backlinks, there somehow seems to be a hole in the PR which needs to be rectified.
Site content:
The optimal keyword density doesn't appear to have changed but rather appears to have declined in value altogether. Sites with low keyword densities are starting to appear more often for phrases based more on their links than their content and also overall site relevancy.
So, I have absolutely no idea on google's updation theory. One thing that I am damn sure of, is that, Page and Brin have something that cannot be cracked or hacked!!! and that is a miraculously eccentric Brain!!!
